KSrelief begins aid distribution for returning refugees in Jowzjan

SHABARGHAN (AIP): The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has launched aid distribution for hundreds of refugee families who have recently returned from Iran and Pakistan to Jowzjan province.
The aid distribution process was launched on Friday (Jan. 9) during a ceremony held in Sheberghan, provincial capital of Jowzjan.
According to officials, food assistance will be distributed to 1,000 returned refugee families in Sheberghan and Faizabad districts.
The Director of Refugees in Jowzjan, Mawlawi Amanullah Talha, along with representatives of the KSrelief and the Tauheed Organization, attended the ceremonies marking the start of the distribution.
Officials stated that, as in previous efforts, the assistance is being provided with the financial support of the KSrelief and the technical cooperation of the Tauheed Organization. The distribution process is scheduled to continue for two days.
The food packages include essential items such as flour, cooking oil, rice, beans, and sugar.
The KSrelief has previously distributed similar assistance to hundreds of returned refugees and earthquake-affected families in several provinces. According to officials, the aid program is expected to expand to additional provinces in the future. Ends
