KABUL (AIP): A delegation of US officials led by McCary, official of US mission to Afghanistan, met with Islamic Emirate’s acting Foreign Minister Maulvi Amir Khan Muttaqi in Doha, Qatar.
Spokesman of Afghan foreign ministry, Abdul Qahar, said in brief statement that two sides exchanged views on US-Afghanistan relations and other related issues in the follow up of the previous meetings.
Yesterday, acting economic affairs minister Qari Din Mohammad met with Norwegian ambassador in Doha.
During the meeting, recent developments in Afghanistan, humanitarian assistance, economic issues and positive relations between the two sides were discussed.
The Taliban officials’ meeting  with foreign officials in Doha have increased recently as China’s foreign minister also met with the Taliban leaders in Doha few days ago. Taliban’s first vice prime minister Mullah Baradar is also in Doha. Ends
