KSrelief distributes aid among earthquake affected families in Balkh

KABUL (AIP): The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) distributed food and non-food assistance to 250 earthquake-affected families in the Kishindeh district of Balkh province.
A ceremony marking the distribution, held Wednesday (Nov. 12), was attended by Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, President of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, Deputy Governor of Balkh Mawlawi Noorul Hadi Abu Idrees, representatives of the King Salman Foundation, and several other participants.
Each affected family received five blankets, one tent for shelter, two cartons of dates, and a large kitchen utensil set.
This assistance was provided with financial support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, under the supervision of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, and with the technical cooperation of the Al-Noor Charity Organization.
It is worth mentioning that similar aid was distributed last Monday in Feroz Nakhchir district of Samangan province to another 250 earthquake-affected families, also funded by the King Salman Foundation. Ends
