Assistance distributed among 700 earthquake-hit families in Samangan, Kunar 
KABUL: (AIP): King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) distributed assistance packages among 700 earthquake-hit families in Samangan and Kunar provinces.

Assistance package of edibles, including wheat, rice, ghee, sugar and dates were distributed among 400 earthquake-affected in Aibak city, capital of Samangan province today.

The assistance was distributed with the financial support of KSRelief, coordination of Afghan Red Crescent Society and technical help of Tauheed organization.

Meanwhile, KSRelief distributed edibles and non-edibles among 300 earthquake-hit families in Dewa Gul area in Sokai district of Kunar province today.

Each family was given a tent, five blankets and kitchen ware. 

Representatives of KSRelief, Afghan Red Crescent Society and concerned agencies attended the ceremony.

It is pertinent to mention here that these families were affected by recent earthquakes in northern and eastern provinces of the country.

KSRelief distributed assistance among earthquake-hit families, deserving people and returning refugees in Samangan, Kunar, Balkh, Baghlan and some other provinces in the past.
