KABUL (AIP): At least four people died and two others wounded in separate incidents in Nangarhar, Badghis and Takhar province, police said Wednesday.
Two persons were killed and two more wounded when a man opened fire on his family members in 28th Wayala area of Ghanikhil district, Nangarhar province, today, killing his brother and nephew and wounding his mother and another nephew, said Hafiz Abdul Baseer Zabuli, spokesman of Nangarhar police.
He said the assailant identified as Khan Mohammad son of Yaar Mohammad escaped from the scene and police started efforts to arrest him.
Local residents told Afghan Islamic Press (AIP) that the alleged murderer had money dispute with his brother.
In Tagab Alam district of Badghis province, a man was shot dead last night, Badghis police said.
According to police, five persons were held in connection with the incident.
Meanwhile, a gas cylinder exploded in Khwaja Bahauddin district of Faryab province yesterday., killing a woman and burning a portion of the house, said Tayyab Tariq, administrator of the same district.  Ends
